BTHome Monitor V2 out now

I’ve been working on some improvements to BTHome Monitor over the past week and am pleased to announce V2 is now available. This version adds:

  • Lock screen widgets – gauges that adapt to show key information
  • Home Screen widgets
  • Switch to recording full resolution or quantised measurements to avoid noise
  • Show/hide measurements per device
  • Support for BTHome V2 encryption
  • Editable device names

Currently in test for the next minor release is a refactored webhook component – in addition to generic webhooks, this supports sending sensor telemetry directly to the A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) telemetry API, for those of you who may be rolling your own EV monitoring using BTHome. Any other platforms you’d like to see built right in?

Widgets are limited to ~40-70 updates per day, so they may not be as fresh as the advertisements being processed in the background.

Let me know what you think of the improvements – please take a minute to leave a review on the App Store and feel free to reach out with any feature requests!
